THUNDER BAY, ON - February 11, 2010 – The Neebing Fire Station on 20th Sideroad was closed earlier today after mould was confirmed by a Microbiological Analysis. For health and safety, its personnel and pumper have been temporarily relocated to James Street Station.

“We will continue to respond to emergencies with the same level of resources and deploy the closest apparatus and personnel to any emergency, as per our deployment plan,” said Deputy Fire Chief Greg Hankkio.

The Neebing Fire Station building is being investigated and a course of action will be developed.
